Jin Shin Jyutsu® Physio Philosophy is the ancient Art of harmonizing the infinite life energy in the body. This energy flows along pathways through which it enters into all of our cells. When one or several pathways become blocked, the stagnation may lead to discomfort or even pain. This will initially disrupt the local area, but may continue to eventually disharmonize all paths of the energy flow, and negatively impact our entire being, including our mood, energy level, and outlook on life.

Benefits of Jin Shin Jyutsu®
By holding the twenty-six "safety energy locks" in multiple steps and various combinations, we bring balance to mind, body, and spirit. This promotes optimal health and well-being, and facilitates our own profound healing capacity. There are many benefits, inducing relaxation, increased vitality and energy, the reduction of the effects of stress, and overall quality of life.

Each Jin Shin Jyutsu® session is individualized based on pulse listening, body reading, and client requests. Self-help techniques may be given at the end of the session to continue the body’s healing process at home.

Out of the three modalities that I offer, Jin Shin Jyutsu® is the most gentle, using very little pressure to listen to your pulses/energy at different points on your body. During the session, you remain fully clothed - come as you are, as long as you are comfortable.

According to the Kojiki (Record of Ancient Things - Japan, A.D. 712), Jin Shin Jyutsu® was widely known before the birth of Gautama (Buddha, India), and before the birth of Moses (recorded in the Bible). Master Jiro Murai rediscovered it early in this century. After clearing himself of a life-threatening illness, Master Murai devoted the rest of his life to the research and development of the Art of Jin Shin Jyutsu®, gathering insight from a range of experiences and resources. His student, Mary Burmeister, brought the Art from Japan to America in the 1950's.
